DigitalSoundboard.net is turning the music business, as you've known it, upside down. Our mission is to put both the Artist and music fans first. Employees of DigitalSoundboard.net are music lovers, tapers, traders, downloaders and sharers of music. Our appreciation for the actively touring Artists is paramount and we help them by leveraging their recording of live performances through paid distribution of those recordings.

Within the download realm of music sharing we know what works and what doesn't. Frankly, a 5k per second connection to a 750MB recording is not a pleasant experience. Especially when after three days of downloading a show, the sonic quality turns out to be sub-par.

We have built DigitalSoundboard.net with download speeds and sonic quality in mind. We are confidant that by providing robust download speeds, coupled with high quality recordings that the Artist has complete control of, we are providing all with a service worth paying for.

While DigitalSoundboard.net was born to distribute live soundboard recordings, we welcome Artists studio recordings to their DigitalSoundboard.net archive of downloadable music.

Beyond hosting and delivering music we are true marketing partners with the Artists represented at DigitalSoundboard.net. We actively promote our Artist partners music in a number of ways including online advertising and via Podcasting of select content.

In the old days Artists relied on terrestrial radio to help promote their music. If tracks did not receive radio play, Artists music was likely to languish and not be heard by the masses. With a small number of radio companies controlling most of the large markets today, music being presented on terrestrial radio is quite homogenized. Independent Artists and Labels continue to struggle more than ever to get their music heard over the radio.

The Internet has gone far to help release the stranglehold that big radio companies have on Artist exposure. With the recent emergence of Podcasting, DigitalSoundboard.net has leveraged XML technology to seamlessly deliver our Artist partners music to countless people throughout the world at no cost to the end user. Podcasting is proving to be an effective marketing tool for musicians. DigitalSoundboard.net provides Podcast marketing services to our Artist partners at no additional cost to them, providing yet another value-added service we bring to the table for our partners.
